Introducing: Jason Stern

Originally from Brooklyn, New York, I spent most of my childhood growing up in New Jersey prior to moving to South Florida. Living in Florida has been helpful in allowing me to realize my passion for the Hospitality Industry through a combination of my three passions: traveling, technology and education.

As mentioned previously, travel experiences and the exploration of new cultures are both a passion of mine. Since moving to Florida, I had traveled to several areas in Europe, ventured as far north as Alaska, crossed the Atlantic Ocean and Panama Canal by ship as well as having sailed the coastal waters of Africa in addition to exploring most islands in the Caribbean and parts of Central America. As a tourist, I have naturally gained a further understanding of guests' needs and how to anticipate and accommodate these needs. Having this valuable information has become very useful in my career journey and in being able to know what the expectations are. My experiences and education have helped me to perform at my best in which I can provide a more immersive encounter with the guest in order to provide complete satisfaction. As such, I have received several awards including Marriott's "Spirit to Serve" Award, "Front Office Team of the Year" in early 2016 and "Employee of the Quarter" in both 2015 and 2016.

Education has always been important to me. I am in the process of pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree in Hospitality Management at Lynn University and recently graduated in 2014 from Florida Atlantic University, with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Hospitality Management. I've always considered knowledge to be a lifetime journey and combined, I believe my three passions make me a perfect fit for this industry.
